A Whimsey would be to include a tiny bit extra in the photo that might usually be cropped or cloned out. The whimsey item would have some relationship to the main subject. A whimsey is playfully quaint or fanciful behavior or humor.

A Flare is an enhancement of the bright light in a photo by use of filter or otherwise and included in the composition of the photo deliberately. Lens flare is the light scattered in lens systems through generally unwanted image formation mechanisms, such as internal reflection and scattering from material inhomogeneities in the lens. These mechanisms differ from the intended image formation mechanism that depends on refraction of the image rays.

An Echo is a repetition of the form or color or both, of the subject in the photo.
